Get 50 GB Cloud Storage on Box.com

Done! Thank you, HouseOfTechs.

I got some mixed messages regarding business use of the free box.net account. When I first signed up, I had to check a box confirming that this account was for non-commercial use. But, once the account was upgraded to 50 GB, Box.net was encouraging me to send free 50 GB invitations to my co-workers (limited to my company domain name), enthusing about all the storage for my work team and clearly promoting the accounts for commercial use. Weird.

^^^^^

What he said. I initially signed up with my personal e-mail address, because of the agreement of not using it for commercial purposes. I figured it wouldn't hurt to have the space for my personal stuff. However, when they encouraged me to use it for my co-workers, even going so far as to give a link to change the e-mail address to my business address, I figured I was within their expectations of usage.

Thanks for the offer!

Brian.

Well I missed this one. Although I use Dropbox for my cloud storage, having 50Gb is nice.

Thank you. My account is now upgraded to 50gb. I have changed my sign in email and allocated additional 50gb to other users. Thanks house of techs

For those using Box.com what app do you use for syncing PC folders ?

Unlile DropBox, Box.com doesn't have a Desktop App.. 50GB is great, but without an App like the one from Dropbox, is not something I'll use too often...

*according to box.com there is some sort of app for commercial users.. I also read about 3rd part apps for free/personal accounts, but don't know if any offer similar functionality to dropbox.
