Having used Ubuntu for a while now I have missed some of my Windows software and haven't been able to find Linux replacements. For instance Gimp is good but it is not Photoshop by any means.
So I purchased Win 7 for my laptop and having struggled getting Windows updates to load and being nagged to upgrade to 10 I finally took the plunge and did it.
I have to say I am pretty impressed.
Its fast, feels nice and responsive, looks good and so far haven't found a fault with it. Windows 8 was a disaster but its nice to see Microsoft back with a good OS.
I think MS have given update priority to 10 as a few seconds after installing it the updates were already downloading where as I was waiting 3 days for 7s updates to start downloading.
