Just ran across this site yesterday with a link to download a awesome audio/video conversion program. Free Studio: The Ultimate Free Swiss Army Knife for Audio and Video Files. I've tried a few of these out and they work great. It does ask you to install the ASK toolbar when you go through the install, but just uncheck before continuing.
