All,

I have launched a campaign to get more Facebook fans by giving away an iPad 2 at 500 fans, 1000, 1500, etc.

What do you think? What kind of terms/conditions should I add?

I have created a page on my website with details as well. If you want more information, feel free to check it out, but I don't want to link it because I don't want it to come off as me advertising here.

All of our work is done remotely - I've helped people in California, Washington, Puerto Rico, Canada, someone that was on vacation in Brazil, and more. ;)

Edit: the reason the website/links below state Orlando is for SEO purposes to target the local area and grow from there.

You can actually afford that offer? I mean, does 500 fans actually translate into enough business to pay for that and still profit?

I don't know the laws about shipping prizes internationally. If I won, I'm pretty sure I'd have to pay duty (I'd guess $100-200 COD) when it arrived. You'd want to make sure to tell them they may be responsible to cover such costs.

I done my first customer remotely in Russia last week, and i am based in the UK. I do customers all over the world and have them as Facebook Friends too.

I do not pay for advertising, do only thing i have done, is when starting the seo side of my business, it was around Comic Relief (UK Charity Event) time and i said for one week all profits from SEO purchases would go to Comic Relief and the worked out really well as a promotion tool.

Thanks

I received two iPads for free this past weekend and since I'm not going to use them I figured I could either sell them or do something that might help gain business and make some people happy.

Can you provide more detail? Do you provide the SEO service and then your profits went to Comic Relief? Or what?

For the week leading up to Comic Relief, I charged 6.99 per website to promote them once a 1 month for 12 months, and basically kept them in a seperate account and sent the money to Comic Relief. I classed it as all profit, because I just class my time as FOC to setup the schedule job to promote the website.

I sent an email promoting the Charity Offer and it really did a good job of promoting my business. Comic Relief in the UK, is a big event, so to run a promotion to donate to that, can be very help for any business.

Thanks
