I am so ingrained in VMware it isn't funny .I thought about learning Hyper v. Nahh.

Although I don't have any experience, users or need for Hyper-V, it can't hurt to read about it and gain knowledge of it's workings etc.

I was the same at one time; nothing but VMware. Probably about 8 or so years ago I started playing with Hyper-V. Then a few years later I was using nothing but Hyper-V. These days I virtualise everything I possibly can, so not a day goes by that I'm not working with Hyper-V virtual servers. Coming from VMware I remember finding a lot of Hyper-V's quirks annoying, but now that I'm used to the way it does things I find it much easier to work with than the VMware products I used to use. It's also much more stable and has better integration with the Windows Server OS.
