So I'm in Florida. 34 hours till I get married. I'm finally starting to get nervous. Nerds are not meant for this. Therefore, I'm treating it like a virus removal. Eventually, it will get done. Let's hope I don't pass out.

Rootkit huh? Those can be hard to get rid of. If you have a rouge, they will constantly nag you and ask for money and give you ultimatums, but don't give in. Also, some of these viruses, are very manipulative and try to get what they want by acting like something they are not, be careful. I am not sure if you can or even want to get rid of this virus, but if you don't want any more of its spawn, I suggest good protection like AVG.
