Got a mailing with a sample from these people some time ago. Actually liked it, retractable pen with a stylus for the top, great writing quality. There is a promo code below which is apparently one of those never ending things. Price seemed pretty good, 59 cents each, for the quality, turn around was fairly quick.

www.pens.com

look for Alpha Soft Touch Pen. Turns out it's .59 anyways so no code needed.

When I put that code in, it populates the page with all of your info.

Interesting. They said it was good for 30 days. So I tried it 60 days later and it came up with ESPN somewhere in CT. At any rate you can edit it for the correct stuff which is what I did.

I ended up looking at the main site, pens.com, and it turns out you don't even need a discount code.

I bought 500 of those pens @ .59 a few months ago to give to my customers as I visit them. Everyone loves it. The pens write really good and feels like a quality product, something that I portray that my business is all about.

Of course now that I'm a customer, they want .89 to reorder the same pens...

Thanks for mentioned that. Hate when I think I've checked everything and then something does not work the way I thought. LOL!!!

Yep, I got 500 as well. Just received them a few days ago so haven't really had any feedback. But compared to the other promo pens I see they are very nice.

I bought some of these last month. They have been an absolute hit.

Turned them into "Password Logbooks"

You can get Password logbooks with the fill in the blanks, but they cost 3 times as much.

Ironically the mail lady nabbed one today while I was working with a customer. I though it was a pretty sly smooth move. Made me chuckle.
You have such a spacious place, holy cow! I am partially jelly, but my rent is killer low for my location!

That's a great idea. One of my customers was complaining about the whole password thing this weekend. She had them all on six 8.5 x 11 yellow pad pages.

I was thinking the same thing, I am looking at price options now. I like this much more than "just a pin". This would be something a little unique that most business don't hand out. because everyone does magnets, those cheap cups, and pins.

Those pens look very similar to one I got from Hover a year ago and am still using, though the stylus part has torn off.

Agreed, very nice pens.

Edit: and apparently very popular! Looking right now, they're 1.29 each if you're getting 1000, all the way up to 1.70 if you only get 50.

I've had a couple of other pens like those that I have used. Those rubber tops never lasted long, torn up within 6-9 months.

Meh. I don't want to put my name on anything that isn't of impeccable quality. I don't want to just give away cheap sh*t. I ordered books a long time ago. Cost me nearly $10 a pop. Got a lot of compliments on them, but when I went to reorder them I found that they'd discontinued them.

I generally avoid Vistaprint like the plague. Everything I've ever bought from them has been crap. Even bought some super expensive dress shirts for $65 a pop. Thin, cheap crap. Never again. I'd rather buy the stuff myself and get it embroidered or printed at a local shop. That way I KNOW what quality I'm getting and I don't have to throw $500 down the drain and hope I don't get a piece of crap.

Might be worth looking at https://business.landsend.com/

Curious on a better site to buy notepad/pens for "password books" I dont want to order 300 books for $450... maybe like 50-100 books... and under $2 ea.

That may be a tall order. Doing some simple searches on "custom pocket notebook" led to some options, but the ones where the price was below $2 each had order sizes of a couple hundred.

Edit 2: this is the cheapest option I really saw: https://www.qualitylogoproducts.com/scratch-pads/budget-eco-mini-notebook.htm basically $275 for 250 little books with a logo up to 2x3.

I just don't need that many books... it'd be impossible to give away that many in my area...
