Firefox won't open!?!?!?

OK,

My client has a new Lenovo e530 laptop. All applications work great, except Firefox 21. What happens is firefox.exe shows in the task manager, but the window never appears.

I have:

• Uninstalled
• Manually removed ALL files & profiles
• Re-installed
• Created new Profile

Sometimes it will work for just one open, then never open again. In my experience, Firefox either works or it doesn't -- either due to corrupt program files or profile. But I have never seen it work like this were it will work once, then never open again, even after a reboot.

Has anyone encountered this before?

Sorry, should have mentioned that. When it doesn't open, safe mode doesn't work either.

In the meantime I have uninstalled Firefox and set Chrome as his default browser.

Just an update on this conundrum... It has happened to almost every Lenovo e530 I sold at some point or another -- still uncertain of why. It has always worked while in the shop, it only seems it's after delivering to the client that it stops working. Yesterday I was able to resolve it by completely uninstalling and removing the directories and reinstalling Firefox, however that has not worked in the past.

Has anybody else encountered this with a Lenovo machine? Is there something I should be uninstalling to prevent this headache for me and my clients?

Does the Firefox icon appear in the taskbar when you open it? I was thinking if it did then maybe Firefox is opening on the secondary monitor instead of the primary.

This leaves me perplexed. I can't imagine anything that would cause this scenario. I could understand one machine, but multiple machines at different locations at different times ?.
