Hi many times I have had to install a new hd in a laptop because of drive issues. I like using fabs autobackup but it doesn't work if the source drive is not in a machine, anybody know of a program that would work like fabs, transferring the same usual files from a drive in a usb adapter to the same empty directories in a clean install to a new drive in a laptop?

I just put the drive in my bench machine and use fabs from a PE boot disk to put the data on a flash drive
that would be a good idea, unfortunetly all i have on my bench is a old dell with just ide drives in it, I ordered a sata adapter so maybe thats what I'll do in the future, thanks.
