Lately every EPSON scanner will not communicate with the scanner. The driver was installed via the web combo package.
Printing works fine.

Epson Scan Utility Runs
The printer is seen via the ip
Pressing scan throws out a comm error.

There is no scanner driver in the device manager

Anyone having these issues?

Have you tried setting an IP address manually using the Epson Scan Settings Utility?

It's in C:\<PC Name>\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\Epson\EpsonScan

The Scanner uses the Printer driver so you wont see it it in Device Manager

Pressing scan throws out a comm error.

Pressing scan from the computer and Windows 10 or pressing Scan on the scanner to send a scan from the scanner to the computer? If it's the latter then that hasn't worked for me in awhile. I always need to request a scan on the computer from the scanner, not the other way around. I assume Win10 doesn't like the security issues of the scanner telling it what to do.

With some HP AIO's lately I've fixed similar issues by one or more of the following... making sure the computer account has a password on it - no blank or nul passwords for Windows; verifying firewall settings to allow comms (and often just making a new rule anyway); adjusting TLS settings on the computer. Good luck and please let us know when/if/how you resolve this!

No from the scan from PC > it opens the "Control Panel" for the scanner, though then when pressing SCAN or Preview then it throws out the error "Check the Scanner Status and try Again [E425-8301]

@SlickMinnow - tried all that to no avail.
