enter administrator password or power on password

Just got in a HP envy laptop that the client allowed "remote" assistance. Now before any boot options you get the black screen and blue box with enter administrator password or power on password anybody have the fix for this one?

That looks like a bios password to me. It looks like some people got it removed and working from this article

Thanks! I put in random passwords until it presented a code, typed it in here https://bios-pw.org/ and used the number generated!
