Does anyone use it or have a better alternative... The whole pay for 10 computers, 25 computers, etc. looks annoying!

I am not positive where those numbers come from. I know we use Driver Agent and as far as I know it's a one price for an entire year. I know last year was a full year and we never had a problem with how many comptuers we did.

can you uninstall when you are done using it on a computer, and install on another one? As in, you can only use it on 10 computers at a time... but when you uninstall on one, you have 9 and room for one more?

They have changed the way they are doing it. I hope those of us that were already signed up don't have to fall into this. I use driveragent all the time, cause sometimes DriverPacks and DriverForge kill the machine.

I think they have a new pricing scheme, I just recently renewed and saw all that number of PCs rubbish, luckily I was still able to renew the old way.
As for the service, it can be a real time saver, but it does sometimes get it wrong.

From what I have seen after signing up, it looks like you can use it on as many computers as you want. You just can only leave it installed and monitoring X amount of computers for updates at any given time.

AAAaaarrrghhh!!! Driveragent has just informed me that since i have used driveragent on more than 10 machines, they have cancelled my account!! I have recently signed up for two years after the first year went so well!
I never install driveragent, i only did the webscans. They state that i violated the terms of use.
Be careful guys - only use it as a necessity. I am going to have to use a different method for my drivers in future. Can't believe they have just pulled the plug on me!!

Counting by computer names & ip addresses
I just checked my account and it shows that I only have used it on 2 pc's. It shows under "My Account" about the last 20 pc's I've used it on but all of the computer names are the same except 1. It seems to be counting different computers by their computer name & ip address! So in theory just make sure and always change the computer name to one unique one that you would always use before a scan and then change it back it if you like after the scan! I haven't tried this lately from out of the office (on-site) from another WAN ip address though.
This seems to work for me. Hope this can help someone else.
