Do Dual PSU servers draw 2x the current or is it spread across both?

I need to figure out power usage and needs of some servers. I have two servers that have dual 1300watt PSU's and if this thing draws 2x the current then that is some serious electricity use. I know both PSU's light up and it looks like both are running but I can't see how it could draw full current on both PSU's as where would the current go, heat? That wouldn't make sense that it would waste all that energy so I figure that it spreads the use between the two or runs fully on one.

Does anyone know?

All else equal, the computer cannot use more power than it uses. Your draw will be the total consumption on the machines components regardless of which PSU is converting the current from AC to DC. Most just use one unless there's a fault, as mentioned above.
