did autoback7pro remove google profile

I am guessing even a backup, clean load of the OS and restore of data will lose the whole profile. This will cause us to change a fair amount of procedures as the chrome profile, containing everyone's passwords is a big deal. Since we deal with older people where their most important thing is the password to log in to accounts, is EVERYTHING to them. If we do a job and lose this information, in their mind(which is all that matters) we lost all of their stuff.

We will need to experiment to see if we can we use a program like webpassview on an unbootable system to pull the passwords out of the old profile. This would be an okay solution, I suspect it will not work on an unbootable system
You're right about MailPassView, it works but just for current logged in user.

Sorry, I was meaning WebBrowserPassView but yes, this is similar. Only for current logged in user
Fabs uses WebBrowserPassView by NirSoft to export browser passwords, including Chrome to a text file which is saved with the backup. It is not restored to Chrome during restore but that text file is available which you should point out to the end user.

What's ironic is the passwords in that text file are about as "safe" as being saved in the browser. Time to educate the end user and advise them on a secure password manager.
