I have a client that has a dell all in one that occasionally gets a yellow hue. Dell replaced the motherboard, lcd, and hard drive and also claim the yellowish tint was visible over a remote session. (I was just made aware of that.)

I had cloned the original drive on to the replacement hard drive and now they are saying because they replaced all the parts and it was visible over the remote session (Im not sure I believe that.) that the issue must lay with the OS that was copied back.

Anyone ever have an issue like this?

Seems weird it would be a software issue.

I would say it is def a display panel prob. You said they"claimed" the yellow hue was visible over a remote session, but I would not believe that. Like above said boot to another OS. You also had this computer in your possession, did you experience this yellow hue?

Lol, maybe an option for the screen display? Currently in Korea many people are changing there Android phones to a yellow hue, not sure the exact setting, but it is supposedly easier on your eyes. In my opinion looks like someone ****** on the screen.

If it was visible on the remote then it is a software issue. Remote in and see what you see. If it's just local are there any color controls on the screen like there are on regular monitors?

I like the "night light" setting. It's pretty easy on the eyes in late hours of the night... when I should have quit working hours ago. It allows me to keep working even a little bit longer than I should be :p

I just got a client complaining about a "yellowish tint" on her screen. I updated the video drivers and its now clear, sharp and bright.
