Custom cd interface

I'm wanting to make mine bootable, as well as having far more tools than the Technibble Repair Kit. Something in the 700mb to 1.4 gig size range. Also have a better looking GUI if you use it inside Windows.

Once done I will send the link to a few people. They made Bryce take the kit down so I will not post it here.

Hey gunslinger when its done would you mind sending me the link? If theres anything I can do to help you Id gladly do it. I havent made any custom cds before but if you want some help testing something or anything you could think of I'd do it.

Yeah I'd be interested in having a nosey when your finished gunslinger.

Chuck it up on megaupload when your done. Quick downloads off there, even for free users like me; way better than Rapidshare and its 60kb/s limit and 15-minute delays lol.

I hate to take this thread off track at bit but I was wondering if anyone has made a CD with this kind of software that you give to customers. I'm made one that has a bunch of basic programs (Firefox, OpenOffice, SumatraPDF, VLC, Deep Burner, 7-Zip, Miranda IM, GIMP) as well as the intaller for each of these programs if you wanted to install the program if you liked it after you used it.

OpenDisc it's a spin-off from the original OpenCD project (now defunct).

Of course there's also the PortableApps Suite if you want to give away memory sticks.

@ Gunslinger - if you don't mind, I'd like to have a copy of the link to. Like Resler said, if there is anything I can do to help, let me know. Thanks.

OpenDisk is nice but it has alot of "stuff". The version of my CD I'm currently working on only has 10 programs and all of them have a portable version so they can be run from the CD without installing the program. I want mine to be simple and easy to use, and have programs that "most" users will use. OpenDisk is more of a collection of programs where as mine is a carefully picked set.

Also, you can run the apps from Portable Apps without using the PortableApps Suite.
