Computer Case Badges..check it out!

Wow! Thanks for that. I've been looking for a place that does the metallic badges. The domed ones just look cheap and tacky to me. Will definitely check them out, but does anyone have any experience with them?

Those aren't case badges, they're stickers and "soft" or "button" stickers. You can probably find them much cheaper if you look for those exact words rather than "case badges"

I think someone showed us this site in the past, then a huge debate started about it. Whether or not it is "right" to put these stickers on someones case or not. Either way, I think its neat. Plus it adds 1 gb of ram per sticker, right?

I would say it is ok to put them on if you are selling them the machine, but if you just performed some sort of service I wouldn't. Some people may not care at all, but some will.

What if Jiffy lube slapped a bumber sticker on your car when you got your oil changed?

What about putting the sticker on the inside of the case if it is a Desktop? If you work on the PC and put a barcode on it and record in a database the barcode number and work performed, it would be a great way to keep track of customers and the exact machine the work was performed on. Especially if you have clients with multiple machines.

I could see doing that. That is a whole other issue i think than putting contact info on the front of the machine.

Back in ye olde days, I used to tape a driver CD (in envelope) inside the case. Came in tres handy a few times.

If you put the CD's in the case like that are not at risk of them being knocked loose and hitting fans and other parts inside the case? I currently make a list of the drivers and keep them on my external drive under that particular customer's file on the drive. I simply save a file with the model number of their computer and S/N and simple list of the drivers. If the customer has more than one computer I simply make a new folder for that PC.
