I'm looking for some feedback on a logo for the whitebox computer brand I am working on.

Thanks. Actually I am looking to do just that. I think it would look better with a black background though.

It might - depends on what colour cases you're using. On a black case, definitely. Beige... stick with white.

What's the thought on removing built from the logo?

Only one way to find out! Try it out and put them up for a side-by-side.

It doesn't really look anything like the Google Chrome logo, the Google logo is made up of 3 interlocking sections with a blue dot in the middle, this one is 4 interlocking 'sail' shaped sections with nothing in the center. I did a search on Google of 'similar images' and these are the results. Google's Chrome logo isn't in the list, so even they don't think it's similar.

ps - I like the logo, a little bit like one I designed for my brother's heating / AC business, but not really.

In other words: will your customers associate 'Rodgers' with your business name, and also, won't it make them think they're buying/relying on 1 man?

I like #2 the most, but it might lose some of its impact if you are using black cases.

Same company. Rodgers Computers is a brand name at this time. Primary Computers doesn't sound as good. I wanted something that feels more personal. I think by using the same design as my corporate logo it will limit confusion.
