Hey everyone,

As a member of CompTIA's Technical Advisory Council, they routinely ask me to go out and find new people to help out with upcoming exam development. Well, they are in the process of creating a new Healthcare IT exam and are specifically looking for those who have experience with Electronic Health Records and the like for the healthcare industry.

If you are even remotely interested, please have a look at the following informational page:

They of course pay pretty well for your time and this particular upcoming workshop is only a 3 day affair in December.

If you know someone interested, feel free to pass this along. The only way we can help advance this industry is together :-)

Where is this workshop being held? Since you have to pay your own travel and lodging expenses, it would be nice to know. This would be perfect for my fiancé. He worked in this exact area for around 30 years, just retiring this past June.

The workshops are held at CompTIA headquarters in the Oak Brook Terrace, IL area. So yes, you would need to get yourself there, but as someone who frequently travels out to attend these events, it's both an excellent networking opportunity and way to learn a LOT.

The pay is not bad either.

Hope that he can lend his skills to help out the industry. Thanks!

For anyone curious about traveling in and staying at the local hotels for the workshop, CompTIA does have agreements with some of them to get you great rates for the nights you are there - a pretty good discount. They send you the info after you sign up and are accepted. Just an FYI for those wondering.
