Well I'm playing with CommitCRM since few day and I really like it, as example I can keep all the info about customers hardware. What i like most it's host on my own servers. I don't like the idea of a CRM host by a small company that can't collect info about my customers and also the idea that such a company can close and I lost all my data.

Here a question for the one who use CommitCRM ..... is it fast when you access your commit server from a customer place, I know it depend on the ISP connection, but some software are faster than other. I plan to order it this week and setup it on a new server.

I use CommitCRM for about 2 - 3 years. Accessing it remotely is fast. I also allow my business client to post and check the issue of their ticket. It minimize phone call.

thanks for the info, I place an order few minutes ago for few missing parts for my CommitCMR Server. I will finally put it on a Windows 7 pro in my office in network with a PC in my shop, I don't want other PC on this network. I order also QuickBook to pair it, I'm still using another accounting software, I will finish my year with it and stitch to Quickbook in 2013. ( the time to learn it) Quickbook is cheap compare to the $ 2000 accounting software I'm using now.

I'm very happy of Commit, my calender is sync with my Outlook so I have it also on my phone, now if I can have it install on a server.

I wouldn't say I'm 100% paperless but after I have scan the work order, invoice, warranty, contacts etc, I import it to CommitCRM and destroy the paper trail. It's been a big help to have all the documents online.

Another CommitCRM user here and also very happy with it. Speed from offsite locations is fine.
The only thing I wasn't happy with was the web interface which didn't have a separate layout for mobile devices. This made it almost unusable on a mobile phone. They recently released version 6 though which includes a much improved web interface which now scales properly on mobile devices.

Just curious if you guys are still happy with Commit CRM? I have been playing with it the past few days and really liking it.

Your thoughts????? Good or bad!
