Collecting Basic Info

I need to find a simple, if possible portable, application which lets you save basic information. I know there's System Information and some others, but they save a lot of extra details I don't really need. So my question, is there anything out there, or do I have to do it manually?

Msinfo32.exe ?

Create a custom VBS WMI script to get exactly the details you need ..

Thanks guys, however I ended up doing my own list in a simple spreadsheet. The problem was that I will be needing certain information that the basic applications won't give you (ie. Speccy)... such as how many DIMMs are still empty etc... Just spent like 7 hours planning step-by-step procedures to improve my work and re-arranging some of the documents I use. Ended up creating a whole new system

I like Speccy. I'll like it (and will use it) when they add a command line option for autorunning.

I like speccy but I had one system that it caused a BSOD on ( did it again after I repaired the issue), luckily it was one of mine I was trying to sell. Only system it has happen on.
I also use SIW portable.
