Does any one have a cold call script that they like/works that they would be willing to share? The goal in my cold calls would be to set appointments for our techs to go onsite for a complimentary network assessment.

Cold calling can be a great way to get appointments. As far as a script goes, it is hard for me to look past Jordan Belfort's work. If you haven't seen the Wolf of Wall street you should definitely watch it..

Though some of his techniques are, well let's just say frowned upon... He does now train people to become as he calls 'killers' on cold calls. An example of some of his original scripts can be found at

For more information on his techniques you can see some notes from the course he teaches at.

I think you would really need to start on your script from scratch because your goals and offerings are going to be unique. Before you start your script maybe think about
- What will make the customer love my product / services?
- How can I express that my business is of the highest quality and Im not just the same as my competitors

In my experience you literally have 5 seconds or less to capture the potential customer... So the first sentence in your script needs to be bang on target to capture them.

Hope that you can find some of this helpful.

I've seen people post gigs on fiverr for cold call scripts. For 5-25$ I'd say it's worth a shot. Possibly even create a list of 10 rebuttles such as we already have an IT guy or we rarely get IT issues. Or my nephew does computer stuff, so we just call him whenever we need it...etc

Also, I think managed services in a month by Karl Palachuck has some scripts if I remember correctly. I haven't read it in about the three years.
