I have a client who works in the property management space and their emails from their brokers are being bounced back mainly from GoDaddy at this time but a few from Road Runner and some are just going into the ether.
First and foremost, they are using hosted Exchange with Rackspace. We have reached out to Rackspace to try and find out what is going on but Rackspace can only see what they see on their end and they are requesting we tell all recipients to white list my client's domain which is numerous amounts of recipients.
They also use Constant Contact to send out email blasts. I am not in the known regarding Constant Contact. I just know that it is a legal way to send bulk email.
We have checked their static IP and ensured they are NOT on any blacklists such as Spamhaus and the like; they are not. GoDaddy does not tell us why they are blocking us AND I UNDERSTAND THAT! They are not willing to because we easily could really bad malicious spammers trying to get around their methods of blocking spam, that's completely understandable.
I'm hoping anyone who has been through something similar can shed some light on what we can do on our own to ensure that we do not end up being blacklisted from various providers such as GoDaddy and any other email or ISP providers.
It's really tough because this is another one of those "We never had this problem prior to x" and I'm at a lost as to what else can be done. They said they want to switch to another provider but I explained it's likely that the problem will remain regardless of what provider they go with.
Edit Unfortunately no they aren't showing up in the RBLs on MXtoolbox.com. I also tried that initially but forgot to mention it in my post. I've tried their static IP as well and nothing. Literally no blacklist is listing them. Unless they're being listed for short periods of time but even then each time I have checked they haven't been listed.
