Cisco USB console cable

Just wondering if anyone has experience with using an USB console cable for Cisco devices. Most laptops now days don't have a serial port any longer.

I have this one from Radio Shack. It does it's job. It seems to be picky about which usb port I plug it into but it allows me to get into the console.

I have one that is very similar...works like a charm! You still need the blue console cable as well.

most laptops don't have serial nowadays. either have an old one for just that or get yourself a serial to usb cable (i have a trendnet and it works great) running XP pro.
