Which do you use and why?.
I'm looking for your input, good points and bad points which you think is quicker, Do you use the out of the box or have you added adons?

Me personally I use chrome just a few tweaks nothing added, I find it fast and uncluttered. It's been a while since I used firefox so cant really point out any bad points as I am sure the ones I had will have been addressed. I have a test rig running IE just to keep up with settings and such when I have to work with it with customers.

Personally I'm using Firefox. I couldn't like without some of the extensions for Firefox. This is the main reason I haven't switched to Google Chrome yet. I will once the Chrome comes out of BETA though, so that it supports extensions, then I will make the switch.

Firefox all the way here, also what I put on my clients computers usually, chrome is good and all, but in my case I miss the extensions of Firefox and for my clients it's a much bigger adjustment then IE. Also even after chrome leaves beta, I somewhat doubt google will be quick to allow an ad-block extension for it due to advertising being their main source of revenue.

You neglected to include the best one, Opera, I use and prefer it and modded it to my own likings over the years and can't imagine ever changing from it.

Since Xmarks and Lastpass has an extension for Chrome, I use Chrome everyday. I've been using it(without opening firefox at all, OMG!) for a month now and I gotta say that the experience has been awesome

Hey guys,
The issue seems to be 64 bit IE vs 32 bit browsers (IE or FF) on this 64 bit machine. Whether the OS is Vista or Win7 doesn't matter.Whether IE7 or IE8 also does not matter.

Thanks.

I use IE all the time, on all machines. I only use FF when I have a possible problem or when a client needs assistance with it.

I'd have to say that on my machine Google Chrome is by far the fastest browser to get me to my home page. Slowest is Internet Explorer, but I use Firefox because the add-ons are unbeatable.

I have switched to Chrome in the last month. I only use Firefox when I do web development since that has all my web dev add-ons on it. I think Firefox has really slipped lately. Its getting slow and crashy, even with all add-ons disabled. Its not just my computer I am seeing it on, but many peoples.

I use Chrome and It now has support for extensions. I have the following extensions installed:
Ad-Sweep - Removes internet ads
Facebook for google chrome
Facebook Ad Killer
Web of Trust
IE Tab - Opens IE in a tab (my favorite extension)
https://chrome.google.com/extensions

As for Firefox, I have tried it but Chrome is so much faster. I read yesterday that Firefox is the buggiest software of the year!

I use IE on web pages that aren't compatible with chrome, but now that I have IE Tab extension for chrome I can simply open a page in IE in chrome! Very Nice!

I have also tried Opera and Safari, Opera is way to slow and Safari is nice and fast but I had alot of problems on Vista (haven't tried it on 7 yet).

just my $.02

I know that FF is running slow but all the add-ons are a big plus. I have chrome installed on my computer but rarely use it. As far as IE, I try to avoid it as much as I can.

Ff

I love opera and use it for personal. But my primary work is FireFox because of memory overhead. In the course of a day I might have 10+ tabs open at a time. I will hit 1.5 gigs of memory in use at times. Firefox has the least memory use and the extensions are superior.

I personally never use IE and do not recommend it to clients. To many issues over the years.

Chrome is coming on fast and has a purge memory feature.

FF all the way. Pretty much because all mentions - extensions/add-ons, fast.
I have tweaked it to be even faster.
It's so customizable,; but I'm sure Chrome is also. Myabe others too. But for now I have FF tweaked to my liking.

I can't say anything about crashing; hapens very, very rarely.
I love the way I have my bookmarks toolbar set up.

I might give Chrome a shot. It looks to be faster (vs. standard FF, w/o tweaks I'm guessing). If they can come up with the same addon, we shall see.

Personally I use Chrome for the speed. I have been having some problems with printing however.

Ironically, when printing a google map, it loses some information.

Imagine my surprise last week when I got to through TSA Security and found that my Southwest Airlines Boarding Pass (printed via Chrome) did not have my Flight Number/Gate/Departure time printed on it, lol.

I am pretty sure that the next iteration will solve some problems.

FF for me has gotten as slow and crashy as IE.
