User is trying to add ChatGPT to O365 and I can't find where this request is going. I am a GA and I also have a mailbox for the org and I receive nothing ... screenshot below

Can we discuss how ChatGPT integrates with Microsoft 365 in October 2025?

I Googled it and got a mixture of results including one from Microsoft that's a $3,000 integration.

I'm most interested in business 365 accounts, not necessarily consumer versions. For business users I know there's CoPilot for $30 per month with a one year commitment. Is there a way to integrate the $20 per month ChatGPT Plus?

This is the only add on I would test, and it's useless for my work. If I started using AI generated responses my business would be dead in a few months.

Well, I'm already paying $20 per month for ChatGPT and use it daily. To use CoPilot with my one 365 account it'd be $360 for one year just to try it out.

I suppose that's fair, but just getting a model to play with your text is a copy paste away as is. Not to mention the other models available. M365 Copilot is not just strapping chat GPT into a window so you can work, it's a fully integrated AI experience within the office applications and services themselves.

It's the search engine for the unmanageable pile of stuff in our sharepoint sites.
It's my Rob to human translator directly within Word and Outlook.
It's my debugging tool for Excel, remembering all the junk I forget.

What I'm saying is, ChatGPT integrated with m365 has value, I'm not saying it isn't. I'm saying it's a joke compared to Copilot, and always will be.

From what I've seen the integration once hooked lets you ask the GPT models from OpenAI.com to review and utilize some of the information stored in M365. Which... again that's HUGE, and if you haven't done that you need to... but it's just not the same.

Opinions are like rear ends, everyone has one, few want to smell it.

I'm honestly reporting that I cannot do my job without Copilot. And I use the free version of Copilot as a super google to keep up with Microsoft documentation. I've used it to help me design upgrades for my home. The stupid thing just works, those that complain confuse me. I've used every AI model on the market, they all have a different flavor... but that's about it.

What makes M365 Copilot special isn't the model itself, it's the integration with the entire M365 ecosystem.
