Great little app. I always run ccleaner before running a spyware/virus scan. Can save some time scanning those pesky temp files.

I have noticed on most systems I work on Ccleaner will free up maybe 400mb to a gig of space. Its also good to run it after an uninstall of a program.

My best result for crap cleaner was on a system shared by two teenage brothers. It removed 5.2 GB of utter crap, most of it internet cache files, mostly porn sites....... I'd never see CC take that long to run before.

Wouldn't you be spending time anyway? It's just another scan to set up and do.

It seems to take longer to scan the files than to run Ccleaner and delete them. The longest I have seen Ccleaner run was about 2 mins. and it removed almost a gig of temp files.

When I scan a clients computer for viruses I do not run ccleaner first as many of the trojans, malware, spyware crap usually resides in temp files. So if you run ccleaner first you maybe cutting what you get paid for if there are viruses amongst the files removed.
