So, Carbonite is pretty easy to set up, but there are a few things that it doesn't do by default;
1) Any file over 4 GB must be manually added to your backup.
2) Video files must be added to your backup manually with Home or HomePlus
3) Because it excludes a number of file extensions from the backup by default, there are some special cases where one must manually select items for backup.

So, I know that SQL-based database backups generate *.BAK files, but I can just manually select these for backup. Are there any other programs that generate *.BAK files that should be backed up, and are there any other things like this that one needs to watch out for when setting up Carbonite? I'm just curious if anyone has run into any special situations where Carbonite/other cloud backup solutions needed more specific configuration.
