Hi folks,

I'm just wondering if anyone has a good site for Canadians to get inexpensive cabling?

I'm currently using dx.com--to give you an idea, I'm getting a SATA 3.0 cable for about $1.88, HDMI (5 ft) for $2.77, and 100ft of Cat6 for about $20. These prices are US, shipping is also free.

Am I getting the best deal here, or is there another site more local that has similar pricing?

You must be really cheap if you are looking for a cheaper price than $1.88 and $2.77 for cables. You must be re-selling thousands of these cables to be concerned about a possible savings of a few cents.

For networking always buy 1000' rolls if you are doing cabling. But if you are making your own patch cables you are wasting your time and money.

@lcoughey

Is there something wrong with wanting similar pricing from a local provider?

@mark

Not making my own, no. It doesn't come up often enough--I'm just looking for a local (as local as possible, anyway) place with good pricing that I can restock when I run low on sata, networking, video, etc.

@Vicenarian

Montreal is close and I see they offer same-day. Thanks! +Rep
