Hi all..
I "rescued" a clients hard drive onto a ghost image (long story with many headaches and still going on...)
For reasons I can't even explain myself (her disk when connected to ANY computer (I've tried 3) will always blue screen with 0x0000000a error msg) I was forced to image her disk (When I ghosted her drive to another the "new" drive did the same thing). I created a .GHO image so that I can extract her files and folders within windows, then "dump" them back onto her drive and do a repair install to get everything back to normal again.
Now I figured I could just copy all her directories using ghost explorer. What a surprise to find out that ghost explorer will only extract individual directories one by one. Now imagine me having to do this for thousands of directories from the image.. one by one... mission impossible here.
So is there any way I can Mount a .GHO (Ghost image) so I can copy these files in explorer and properly? Or are there alternative to ghost explorer?
any help would be EXTREMELY Appreciated
Thanks very much,
Majestic
