Can´t open software or install or do anything

Hi guys.

I have a computer with Windows 7 Home Edition, softwares cant be open or can not install new one, either in normal or safe mode. can not scan in safe mode, Computer start very normal, boot normal and everything, I had to remove HD and put in dock to scan, Have done using
superantispyware(found 6 cookies) Malwarebytes found nothing, Avast found nothing. any more ideas?

Check the MSI settings for the Windows installer too.

Really, an exact error message would be helpful or an event in the Event Viewer if you have one.

Thanks for a these tip, No error msg, just loading glas for 2 sec when I try open software and nothing more, I have to check event viewer, I will post more if its no result of these help but thanks for posting. Will check these registry entry too and microsoft support.

I have check System Event Viewer, alots of error related all kind of Services.
most with error code: 1053 the service did not...

Maybe a screenshot??? What service?


Probably the Windows installer Service right?

What did it not do? Respond to the Start request?

It will probably work after this... if the problem isn't something totally different than the Windows Installer. The problem here is that your explanation is very vague, so we can only guess at what's wrong.


Saying "A service didn't ... with code 1053" would be like a car mechanic saying "the car had a diagnostic code P014 it didn't..." Another mechanic might ask, "What car?" & "What didn't it do?"
