My opinions lol-

1. Power supply is kinda overpowered. I would got with a 700w corsair or something similar. Especially since there is no video card or any kind of sli..maybe use the savings n get a GTX460!!!!!!

2. The 1090t is a wonderfull choice but the new i7 sandy core with built in video just came out, might me a good time to give it a run - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115071&cm_re=i7-2600-_-19-115-071-_-Product
I m using a 1055t overclocked to 3.5 with turbo boost at 4.1 n its running perfectly fine.

3. I would use the savings to upgrade to an pretty big case to make it look like the beast that it is!!

psu was last i looked at last night, i want to go overkill cause i know ill add more hdd, wireeless card, card reader, maybe dual gpu's, more ram. i am looking for another case but may just go with this for now. ive heard good things about sandy cores but i wanted my first build to be amd.

Nice build ideas...but with Sandy Bridge just released, the i5 2500K is cheaper than your Phenom (~$220), and it offers better performance (at least that's what I have read).

thanks, im pretty sure i want to go with the cpu and mobo i have but thank you for your opinion. im sure ill build a second computer in a few months for my fiancée and go sandy

How much thought have you given to the case? Take a look at Thermaltake cases, I have had zero problems with the ones I have used and they are well built.

well i gave up on building a list for sandy core, just going to stick with amd for my first build

i really like like the case i have picked now but i have been looking at the antec df-85. i had a themaltake picked out but cant seem to find the link again

i have a question on ram if someone could help me..... my mobo says it need DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066. if i get ddr3 2000 and its not over clocked will it still work? i plan on overclocking it, but i mean will it still be able to use the 2000 if its not over clocked?

With regards to the RAM... I would suggest that you go to your Newegg wishlist, click on the motherboard link, click on the Details tab, now on the right you will see "Manufacturer Product Page". Click on that and then click on the "Memory Support List" tab. The rest is self - explanatory.
I prefer to choose ram modules that are suggested by the manufacture of the motherboard. This holds especially true for Intel brand motherboards.

With regards to the computer case... I like the Antec Nine Hundred Two which has two hard drive bays that have a fan for each and each bay handles three HDs.
If you need more room for hard drives, the Antec Twelve Hundred which has 3 bays handling 9 HDs.
The difference between the 900, 900 Two and the 900 V3 is as follows: front has a USB connection; front has a eSata connection; front has a USB 3.0 connection.

I have several of the 900, 900 Two and a 1200. Then there is our NAS unit in a LIAN LI PC-B25F case, and our LIAN LI PC-Q08R Red Aluminum Mini-ITX Tower case which handles our 6 hard drive client NAS... all available at Newegg.

About now I suspect that anyone who went with the new Sandy Bridge 1155 series motherboard & processor is wishing that had waited. I was about to until I read up on what is coming out later this year or early next year from Intel.

not to be rude or disrespectful and thank you for you input but im not sure if you read my post on the ram or skimmed over it. i had looked at the mobo specs and it said that i need DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066. i have 1333 picked out but plan to over clock and seen ncixcom on youtube use 1600 when overclocking to 4.0ghz.

i like antec but i have several friends that have those cases and just have a prob using the same :)

also i have updated my list of parts, i decided to spend more then i was going to previously. now with what i have do you think im still ok with my 800w psu?
