A company (Company A) I do work for, is merging with another company (Company B) and ultimately they will be retaining Company B as the merged company.

So typically for a single person I'd setup forwarding to the new email with a vacation response telling the sender to update their records with the new email. Something like:

"Hi we've received your message but we've changed our email address. Our new email address is jsmith@companyb.com, please update your records. Your email has automatically been forwarded for you, there is no need to resend it."

I've already enabled external forwarding in O365 Admin Center, but I'm thinking the only way to do this is individually? because each message has to be personalized for each individual user i.e.

Thank you blah blah blah john@companya.com is now jsmith@companyb.com, bill@companya.com is now bgates@companyb.com

Thankfully I can do all of this on the admin side in the admin center, but is there an easier way?

Powershell.
