Best program to resize partition

Windows 7 already does that without any 3rd party apps, why would you want to go around your arsehole to get to your elbow?

That's like having hens at home and going to the grocery store for eggs. (yes, I have hens at home.)

Yup..I usually prefer using native tools built within the OS. Can go earlier than Windows 7 to find native Windows partition resizing tools...command line...."diskpart /extend". Does it in the blink of an eye!

Didn't read all this post but I would recommend easeus partition manager. And free!

Gparted LIVE works better than Partition Magic. Partition Magic is slow. You have to process changes. Gparted is free. Can't complain about Gparted.

I have had to use all the tools mentioned except booted bare metal. Acronis is so simple to use. But I use gparted as it comes on Parted Magic

I always use this as clonezilla is also on the disk. Since this pc has software that you cannot afford to lose you need a partition image before resizing.
