Best Hard Drive Brand

Are you doing physical recoveries and opening the drives, or just logical? I've been experiencing a similar failure rate with WD and Hitachi, but Samsung is right up there as well.

Logical recoveries. If it comes to any physical recovery I send them off to On Track.

I say WD all the way from both a personal and a professional point of view. Had bad experiance with segate just no good, either the drives or the support.

+1 for Western Digital. The Seagate in my computer died just the other day
