Since so many people still have XP because Vista was so hated, and you can't get to 7 from XP, I expect that lots of people won't switch until they absolutely HAVE TO. The days when people rushed out to buy a new OS simply because it was new are OVER!

I think the response windows 7 is getting might help push xp out?. Also the people who got free laptops with isp (uk) running vista will see a big improvement if/when they change to 7?. I know so many people who had problems with vista but I haven't seen that with 7?

until i need to make a serious hardware upgrade (no time soon), i'm staying with xp.
