Had a customer ask me this yesterday - and I laughed to myself since I have never really sat down and edited my videos. I have posted to youtube - but again, unedited.

So what would be the options here? The customer has a Go Pro - and there is software that came with it - but something a little more but at the same time very user friendly and easy. Something that could handle almost any video format out there.

Do you know off the top of your head if that will support gopro videos? And integration of still pics into a movie?

Oh yeah, somewhat related - what program allows you to capture your computer screen on a video with your voice as well?

I was recording off my iPhone and importing it into there, I also used still pics. It should absolutely work with GoPro videos with no problems.

When it comes to your second question a couple open source programs are available although the name escapes me. Teamviewer I believe also has this ability.

Whoa - Blender is WAAAY more than just video editing - overload!
You don't have to use all its features. The video editor is not difficult to get started with.

I have used OpenShot, which is simple to use and reasonably sophisticated in capability. I have only used it on Linux – I have no idea how the Windows build compares (but there is a Windows build, 64-bit only).

Thanks for the suggestions! Windows movie maker actually allowed me to consolodate a whole bunch of .ASF files from my Lorex camera system. The thing spits out like 75 files for an hour of video - and WMM allowed me to get them all into one... sort of... I keep hitting the dreaded yellow exclamation point if I try to load more than 20 at a time...
