Earlier I was having an after work Bloody Mary and thought a nice snack of 3 pieces of bacon would be a nice compliment.

Ok, now my house smells of the wonderful smell of maple bacon....hours later. Now I want to make more!!!

LOL!!! I'm a massive bacon hog. I've learned that the best way is to make it in the oven. The problem with that is I'll cook up the whole package and then it's a battle to not eat it all.

Got some of those little round steaks over here.

Would be a shame if that bacon accidentally wrapped itself around my steak before I cooked it ...

There's very few things in life better than the smell of pork fat cooking....I'm a huge..HUGE...bacon aficionado!

Sometimes when cooking thick sliced bacon in a pan...I'll take a few heads of garlic, peel, cut cloves in half lengthwise (or thirds of quarters if huge gloves)....and toss 'em in there.

Other times...yeah cooking in the oven is great (and no stove top cleanup from the splatter!).

This past weekend I brought home some thick sliced deli bacon....applewood smoked. MMMm...

Oh man...I'm hungry now!

THEY SAY men would prefer bacon over sex....*I* didn't say that, but now I think back to the old boyfriend days, he cooked all the bacon and sex was after lol

Saturday brunch is what I live for: bacon, fried hash brown potatoes with a dash of Montreal Steak Spice and onions , huge omelette with onions, peppers, tomatoes and cheese within, Country Harvest 12-grain toast, PC Choice pure raspberry jam, and orange juice. It's the highlight of my week.

Sounds like a fantastic meal! I'm still a few hours away from when I normally eat lunch (EST) and after this thread I'm ready to fire up the stove!

Bacon is life! Keto on!

Indeed. Lots of bacon and grilled chicken will be topping a massive salad for dinner tonight. Run from the carbs, but don't fear the fat.

That is okay...I'm sure that I eat enough to more than cover your lack of support for the pork industry.

I can relate. The breakfast buffet people are on high alert when they see me come into the restaurant. :D

I was disappointed at my last hotel stay, they did not have bacon in their continental breakfast like they did the last time. Yes, I love ham slices too, but bacon is what I crave.
