Automated computer tuneup

I realized this is old thread but I was searching for automated tuneup tools. never heard of tron until now. Might be using it.

I have never used nor will I ever use any program that will "automatically tunes up"a computer (except, of course for Windows 10 Update <grin>)

lol nice. I agree with this. I find the manual way of doing this stuff is a sure-fire way of doing it correctly. But to each their own.

I tried it when it first came out and it took over 10 hours on some pc's. Even when I disabled a lot of things, it still took 4-5 hours and then about another hour to verify it did everything and clean up things it missed. I can do it just as fast with smaller automated steps using something like UVK and be sure it is done right.

Wow, 3-10 hours, that sure takes a very long time. I suppose it's going to be a bit of a hassle running this remotely.
Does it have any known issues that would cause something like blue screen or anything like that?

The other thing I am not sure about is whether Tron is licensed for Commercial Use. I know specifically that the Malwarebytes that is offered has been approved by the vendor for home use and only if the users initiate and select items to clean. As for the other tools, they may have license that restricts them to home use.

For those who want to keep shirts white.

Thank you. I feel the same way.
The last post here was quite old. My thoughts on this are you could be much more efficient, especially at scale with automation. But you certainly should understand what is being automated first. The mindset of "automation is bad" seems rather nearsighted.
