Hello everyone, I frequent the site daily but its been so long since I've posted I feel obligated to justify myself as a member. 
Forgive me if there has been a topic before, I did several searches prior but I tend to always forget some obvious keywords (you should see my notes...)
Anyway, I'll try to keep the back story short. I work as a PC Technician, which I really enjoy, but the field is limited; I don't get a lot of opportunity to experience networking, server administration, etc. While I'd be happy working in just about any field that has to do with computers and technology, my personal ambition is to never stop learning. I've purchased and made significant progress on several written sources, text books, etc. but never can seem to find a consistent time to study.
I do, however, have an hour commute, so some sort of audio lesson is an obvious idea, and I've looked into several options. What I'm coming to you as a community with is a picky question. I really enjoy listening to co-workers, professors, adjuncts, etc. talk about experiences, I put a lot of value on that as a learning tool. Does anyone know of a podcast/audio series/anything spoken that is more than a CompTIA book being read word for word by someone?
I've listened to a lot of podcasts that fulfill a lot of what I'm looking for, but the nature of the cast is that they either A) assume the listener knows a lot of the basics concepts (which in a lot of cases, anagrams for instance, I don't) or B) only discuss current topics in the industry, which I don't really want to have to hope that MPLS is in the news for me to learn about it, for instance.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
