Are There CAT 6 RJ-45 Plugs WithOUT Inserts?

I really hate terminating CAT6 cables with the filler/separator strips inside. I always feel like I'm putting 10 lbs. of s*** in a 5 lb. bag when it comes to fitting it all into the end of the connector.

That is what the new ezEX-RJ45 connectors are all about. They can handle the bigger cables and conductor size

I like to snip the wires with my crimpers, thus why I don't like anything that goes all the way through.

This is why you should buy the crimp tool designed for the connector as it crimps and cut all in one operation.

I was reading on another forum somewhere about a tech complaining that he didn't like the EX-RJ45 connectors because when he cut the wires off the end oof the connector they always would sort out or the connector wouldn't fit into the jack. It turned out he was using standard Dykes to cut the wires which leave about 1-1.5mm sticking out.

I never put male ends on cables. Female ends only. Onto a patch panel of biscuit jack on one end and a wall plate on the other. Patch cables on either end for the switch or device.

There are times that you need to put a modular plug on the end of a run as there is no room for a jack and housing. You mostly need to do it for cameras and APs.

The newest TIA standard will have a section covering this.
