A personal computer of mine I am running it as a MAME machine using Windows 7. The software Ultimarc is used for programming buttons. I have used it in the past (maybe a few months ago) without issue. Now when I start it, it shows up in the taskbar and if I leave the mouse over it, the peek feature (small image of the program) displays properly but there is no actual window being displayed within Windows. So its like its running (it shows in task manager) but not displaying its window.

I haven't changed anything (Its Windows 7 so no updates or anything) and other software works fine.

Any ideas what might cause this behavior?

The most likely thing is that its window has been moved off the visible part of the screen. The easiest way to move it back is to select the program in the Taskbar, use Alt-Spacebar followed by M (to select "Move"), and then move it around using the cursor keys.
If that doesn't work, look for a preferences file, hopefully a text file, hopefully an ini or xml file. Look inside with notepad for preferences relating to starting screen location. Take a backup first. Try deleting those found location settings from the file or just delete the whole file.
