Aomei Partition Manager Standard

Looks interesting. Some nice features. Especially the part about Win 8 to go. The free version doesn't allow for a bootable disk which is a big strike against it for me. If I wanted a bootable disk and all the features it would he a $699 investment for a partition editor?!?

I use GPARTED for everything. Specifically GParted in PartedMagic. PartedMagic is an amazing tool to have in your arsenal. DD Rescue Gui, Clonezilla, GParted, and many other tools on one $5 disk. They require a $5 donation now, but it is worth way more than that.

I use it all the time, and like it a lot. Used it yesterday after cloning a drive that had bad sectors and wouldn't run, to expand the clone from the original size to fill the new, larger drive. Never had a problem with the program. I don't use Acronis in cases like this because recovery of data from bad sectors requires use of the Bandura, which creates a same-size clone. Acronis either fails on or skips the bad sectors.
