Well it would seem that Microsoft Security Essentials has sneaked onto my Windows 8 install and it's calling itself Windows Defender.
Err... so do I need to get rid of it in Add Remove Windows Components or switch it off when using Antivirus plus Malwarebytes Pro? I'm interested in finding out if you have any info.
MSSE is called Windows Defender in Windows 8. MS just integrated it into the OS.

I'm sure every single A/V out there is going to be damn sure they are Win8 compatible.
