I'm not sure about you all but we have not had anybody coming in or calling us about Windows 10 expiration warnings since October 15th. I would have thought that they would continue to push notices but haven't had anyone saying so. Just seems strange. Oh well onward to Windows 12!

That is extremely surprising. I'd had several new computer setups over the past couple months. Done a few non supported systems to 11 with rufus upgrade. Only doing those if they let me do it how I want to meaning image before and after etc. so if it doesn't work out we're not creating more work that we don't want to do lol.

Purely serendipitously just yesterday talked with the office manager of a tiny CPA firm about 60 miles from my house. Their tech had installed a new Win11 machine for her (because she had an unsupported older system), but couldn't access the accounting software located on the owner's Win10 machine. The tech couldn't make it work and left telling them he'd be back after he had a chance to research.

They are not nor have ever been my customer, in fact, we were meeting our attorney using the CPA's conference room because the attorney's office was under construction.

I wonder how many of these little hiccups are taking place?

If it's drake software it probably has something to do with the mapped drives etc. SMB1 enabled and all that BS lol.

There's been some recent threads here on that.

Just a hunch because I have a couple clients that use drake and it works great...it's just windows 11 and it's BS that get in the way.
