You can imagine my surprise when installing a trial of TIH 2011 cause my main system to BSOD half way through the install.
A boot to safe mode, and a run of the Acronis removal tool fixed my issues... and onto the cause...

Apparently if you use DataRAM's RAMDisk software do not try to install Acronis or you'll be BSOD at log-in.
A fix is in the works (apparently) so it is either get rid of RAMDisk or wait...
