Acronis® True Image™ Home 2011

Has anyone used this for imaging or do they do a tech version, and does anyone know of anything better.

I have used Acronis True image 11, and it worked great, easy interface too, but it didnt work well with windows 7. Used the Acronis true image home 2010 which is the newer version, and it worked fine although Ive only used it for a few win 7 images. If you use the 2010 version, update it right away, the first version had tons of issues at first, I updated right away, and no issues. As fas as I know, I don't see a tech version for acronis though.

Im sure that the only way to get this is to purchase it, do you know of any freeware versions.

I remember seeing a copy of that coming along with a retail purchase of parallels for mac. That's as far as a free copy as I can remember.

The OP was asking about 2011 not Version 11. 2011 is recently released, superceding 2010.

I haven't had a chance to use it myself, but I hear it can restore Vista and 7 images to disparate hardware.

Thus far I have remained with 2010 baked into my PE image as I don't quite trust the updates until they've been evaluated for some time...

I'd also love to hear some opinions from any guinea pigs
