[SOLVED] Acer Aspire V15 VN7-592G-71ZL stuck on Acer logo

Hi, got in this machine and suspect a bad hd,(not ssd) but I am unable to run any kind of tests because the dang thing is stuck on the acer boot screen frozen, silent then i hear a faint chirp after a couple minutes. Things I've tried:

• reset battery from pin hole on the bottom, waited 5 mins
• let it drain overnight, held down f2 on boot, also tried tapping it
• no beeps

It was the hard, drive, swapped it out (bit of a pain to get at)

@Sha, the problem was solved (by replacing the hard drive) in December, 2016.
