When typing in a URL such as http://www.technibble.com simply type into the address bar technibble followed by ctrl and enter and the prefix and the .com will be filled in automatic. or use shift and enter to fill in the prefix and .net

sheeesh it is 6 AM see what happens when I can not sleep

I would have to agree Altster that at least for me, typing .com takes like a quarter of a second and having to coordinate the left pinky to control while simultaneously hitting enter just takes longer.

CTRL+SHIFT+ESC Task Manager
WIN+Pause Break for Sys Info
Ctrl+C copy
Ctrl+x cut
Ctrl+v paste
Win+R Run
Win+D show desktop
Alt+F4 close
Alt+Tab switch actively open items
F5 refresh

I use all of these all the time, maybe some more but these come to mind...

and also i type g and the phrase or keyword to search Google since I use Opera

i also use win+tab to cycle through windows but yeah most of the main ones are covered, and i use ctrl+enter almost all the time (excluding non .com sites)

Maybe these would be a good idea to put on the back of a business card? They might be inclined to look back to them and its the kind of thing that would get stuck to a monitor. It would keep your contact details prominent and on regular display?

I find Alt + Enter very useful as well. It opens the URL in new tab. You can combine it with Shift and Ctrl for the URL auto-complete too.
