So, if you'll pardon the "Step Brothers" reference...

I need to get a PC desktop for the bench to do various tasks. I'll be using it to swap drives in and out of, running scans, etc.

Big issue I have is that I have large hands. I was the kid in junior high that could palm a basketball. When I started playing guitar I broke ALOT of strings and then ended up playing bass. The wife constantly complains about the lid on the Peanut Butter jar being put on with a pneumatic device after I've made a sandwich.

I've had a few PC's on the bench lately and they seem laid out for those with veeery tiny hands.

In the past I'd build my own PC and just use an oversized tower. However I'd like to get away from that because, well, I spend enough time working on PC's and the price for something pre-assembled is very attractive.

Thanks!

Palming a basketball, nice! I have big hands and have a mid sized tower and that has been the comprise for me. Usually the slim line towers and small form factors can be a challenge, especially the Dell one's.

You would be better suited for a custom built test bench to swap out parts, I still have my old rig that is full size. Works out great. Places like Newegg might have some at a lower cost.

Why do you want a case to begin with? Just get some plastic covered, wire racks, and lay stuff out. I'm serious. I did this when I worked at CompUSA. Having a case was such a hassle.
